Seeing is Believing!!!

Submitted by Susan Rash on 05/15/2008

I am a science teacher who likes to do hands-on activities.

During each lesson that I teach, pictures are taken of students as they work through activities.

Prior to the end of each grading period, students are presented with pictures that were taken of them at work to place in their portfolio along with all of their completed activities.

Students use the portfolio as a review/study guide for their end of the grading period assessment.

At the end of the school year, I return all portfolios back to each student.

Students love to keep them as memorabilia as they reflect on the activities that they did during the year.
