Christine Miles is a consultant for Authentic Education currently assigned to the ToledoLearn project. Her experiences include a focus on teaching secondary level English Literature and Strategies for Striving Readers as well as district level instructional supervision of English/Language Arts and English Language Learner Programming in Southern New Jersey. Christine holds a B.A. (English/Secondary Education) from The College of New Jersey, a M.A. (Educational Leadership) from Wilmington University, and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. (Organizational Leadership) from Wilmington University.
Believing in the significance of two-way communication, Christine truly values the voices of educators. She aims to assist them in playing an active role in their professional learning and harnessing the power of collaborative teamwork. Along with Authentic Education colleague, Kristen Swanson, Christine serves on the board of the Edcamp Foundation, a nonprofit organization designed to facilitate local, grassroots, participant-driven professional development opportunities for educators worldwide.
Christine has presented at local, regional, and national conferences including: ASCD, The English Companion NING Webstitute, The New Jersey Principal & Supervisor Association Leadership Conference, Edscape, and The NJEA Convention. In addition to this, she has facilitated conference sessions at Stockton and Kean Universities.
